apt install kimai2

cp /usr/share/doc/kimai2/apache2-kimai2.conf /etc/apache2/sites-available/kimai2.conf
a2ensite kimai2

# edit /etc/apache2/sites-available/kimai2.conf
# edit /etc/kimai2.conf

systemctl restart apache2

Configuration

Create database sample

create user kimai2@localhost identified by 'password';
create database IF NOT EXISTS kimai2;
grant all privileges on kimai2.* to kimai2@localhost;
